Autumn hair colour trends…

1st October 2019

As it is officially Autumn it is time to think about changing, or just slightly tweaking your colours to make them more seasonal. For those of you wishing to make subtle changes.

For blondes – becoming a ‘Bronde’ is on trend, this is a cross between being a blonde and a brunette, great if you want to tone down summer highlights that have lifted too light in the sun.

For brunettes we are seeing the introduction of lighter caramel tones, added into the lengths of the hair and around the face, this is low maintenance and it gives a lightness around the face, as we start to lose that summer tan.

Reds and coppers, as always are popular at this time of year inspired by the leaves on the trees, for coppers it’ll be more subtle hues though, think more coral and strawberry blonde, as for reds, we are seeing less fiery pillar box and more chestnut warmth.

Balayage doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon and is just is a popular as ever, however just as we thought we’d left some trends in the 90’s, chunky highlights are making a comeback, but don’t worry we won’t be recreating Ginger Spice’s slices!
