|Following the latest announcement by the Prime Minister regarding stage 4 of his roadmap to re-opening, I would like to update you on how this affects Jason Palmer Hairdressing as a “Close Contact Service” venue. After 3 lockdowns, 16 months of uncertainty and much restriction, I am delighted that we are continuing to move toward to a more “normal” salon environment. However, Monday’s message clearly stated the need for caution as we enter this next phase.|
I have conferred with my team in order to gauge how they feel as these changes are implemented. Their input, along with client feedback, has helped me shape my decisions on how we should proceed as of Monday 19th of July. The consensus is that we will take things slowly while gradually re-introducing more of your salon favourites along the way.
| From the 19th of July:|
Team JPH will continue wearing masks because of the close nature of our work, and the number of people we see each day. Goggles will be become optional.
Wearing your mask will no longer be mandatory by law, but following my risk assessment review, I would like to request that masks continue to be worn during your visit until further notice.
Refreshments from our comprehensive drinks menu will become available throughout the salon, on both floors and at all times during your visit. We know how you’ve missed them! Masks may be removed allowing you to enjoy your beverage, but we request they are worn again after.
Magazines will return. We will request the application of hand sanitizer before use to make them safe for future readers.
Your temperature will no longer be taken on arrival.
All 4 waiting seats will be available in the reception area.
You will be given the option of having a biodegradable cover for your jacket before it is placed into the cupboard.

Screens between sections.
Card or contactless payments remain preferred.
The sanitising of sections and equipment between every client.
Hand sanitising on arrival.
Increased salon ventilation.
The sanitised box for your belongings.
|My desire is, and always has been, to give you the highest level of service possible while keeping everyone safe and remaining compliant with guidance. I thank you for your support and co-operation in helping me achieve that goal. With infections rising and set to rise further as restrictions ease, please re-schedule your appointment if you feel at all unwell in order to limit transmission within the salon, allowing us to avoid isolation and remain open. |
