Jasons charity firewalk

23rd September 2019

Jason will be walking the walk instead his usual talking the talk at 19:30 on Friday 18th October when he will embark on a Fire walk in aid of Marie Curie at Newbury rugby club in Monks lane.

Having interviewed the Berkshire community fundraiser Fiona Turner on his Breakfast show in order to raise awareness of the charity and in particular this event, he decided to signup to the challenge.

Marie Curie offer many services to people with terminal illness and their families whether through research, their helpline, hospices, bereavement support and specifically in Berkshire there is a nursing service which looks after people who wish to receive palliative care in the familiarity and comfort of their own home.

Jason would love your support!

You can cheer him along on the night as he walks the coals.

You can join him by signing up to the challenge yourself at https://www.trybooking.co.uk/KAV

If you are not feeling brave then there is a just giving page where you can make a sponsorship donation to help him hot foot it to a grand total  https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/jason-palmer-firewalk

“There are times in our lives when things happen to us that are beyond our control throwing life into a flat spin. I have chosen to do this Firewalk so that I can face a fear and choose to deal with it head on, a choice which many cancer sufferers or indeed the families of loved ones with any terminal illness are denied. By facing this challenge I hope to raise funds that will help others to have the support, guidance and care they need when they most need it. By sponsoring me you WILL make a difference. No amount of love is too little and therefore nor is the amount you donate. Thank you  JasonX
